Faculty Research

The CSU Student Quality Assurance Impact Research (SQuAIR) project strives to determine the impact of Online Course Services and/or campus professional development training on teaching performance and student success in CSU online courses. It is hypothesized that instructors who complete OCS professional development and/or campus professional development training are better able to design and deliver online courses, more effectively engaging students resulting in successful completion aligning with the CSU Graduation Initiative.  Additional benefits to students include higher student satisfaction, increased use of innovative technology, improved quality interactive experiences, improved accessibility of online course content, improved diversity practices, and a reduction in equity gaps.
